Micro-credential Description
This Working at heights micro-credential provides an overview of the risks associated with working at heights and how these risks are managed.
This includes ensuring that the persons who are undertaking work at height are currently competent to undertake the work required at the designated working height.
A critical component of staying safe at work is speaking up and encouraging others to speak up if, at any time you or they feel unsure about how to undertake this work safely. This could be at any time, either when preparing to work at height or when working at height.
Supervisors of workers and workers working at height may benefit from undertaking this micro-credential.
This industry recognised, CPD accredited micro credential, developed in consultation with industry, provides a practical refresher on managing working at heights risks and complements existing training; it does not replace a working at heights licence or nationally recognised accredited training.
