Micro-credential Description

The Processing and refinement of critical minerals micro-credential outlines the different phases of the critical minerals mining and focuses on the processing and refinement stages. It explains processing methods such as flotation, leaching, solvent extraction, impurity control, and precipitation and purification. The micro-credential then discusses different refining methods, including hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processes, and electrorefining. It concludes by examining the benefits of emerging innovations that highlight sustainable practices and grow the sector to help meet global demand.
