Micro-credential Description

Positioning technologies are invaluable tools to determine the location and movements of people or equipment. These technologies can be used in smartphones, autonomous vehicles, space exploration and many other applications. The Positioning basics micro-credential delivers a practical overview of positioning technologies; what they are and how they are used. The course will provide an understanding of the platforms that determine the location and movements of people or equipment and will introduce participants to potential positioning careers.
