Participants will explore system design and operating features, along with the planning and site selection factors that influence successful projects. The course addresses environmental impacts, safety requirements, risk mitigation strategies, wind and weather terminology, and regional and seasonal wind patterns to support effective system planning and operation.
Topics Covered
- Working principles of wind energy systems
- Design considerations for small wind energy systems
- Environmental considerations and site assessment
