Micro-credential Description

This micro-credential helps learners understand how to use, handle and manage batteries safely, while also recognising the importance of sustainability. It is suitable for first nations workers, apprentices, trade assistants, school students, community members and anyone interested in working in the clean energy and battery sector. Throughout the course, learners explore battery basics, battery types, battery performance, battery applications, safe handling, storage and charging practices, environmental impacts, responsible disposal methods and emerging battery technologies.
