Description
The Hydrogen vehicle systems suite of micro-credentials provides participants with courses on Hydrogen fuel cells (MCC00105), Hydrogen system maintenance (MCC00106) and Hydrogen vehicle safety, refuelling driver and emergency responses (MCC00112) to gain knowledge on hydrogen properties, standards and guidelines.
Hydrogen fuel cells (MCC00105)
This micro-credential explains the skills and knowledge required to work with hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen gas systems. It provides participants with information on fuel cell design and operations, hydrogen storage and supply systems and hydrogen refuelling processes.
Hydrogen system maintenance (MCC00106)
This micro-credential explains the skills and knowledge required to work with hydrogen piping equipment, venting and cleaning techniques. It also provides an introduction into common types of valves used in hydrogen supply systems, supply system maintenance and above and underground piping system design. Due to the highly flammable nature of hydrogen and the potential impacts on the environment through leakage, it is important to understand how hydrogen systems work and how they should be maintained.
Hydrogen vehicle safety, refuelling driver and emergency responses (MCC00112)
The hydrogen vehicle safety, refuelling driver and emergency response micro-credentials provide participants with information and an understanding of hydrogen vehicle classifications, FCEV refuelling and procedures and station safety precautions. This micro-credential explains the appropriate incident and accident responses, manufacturers' specifications and emerging technologies for hydrogen-powered vehicles in Australia.
