The Vehicle safety suite contains micro-credentials that cover a range of safety topics. These topics include High voltage electric vehicle safety systems (MCC00155) and Hydrogen vehicle safety, refuelling driver and emergency responses (MCC00112) to gain an understanding of safety standards, risks and control measures.

High voltage electric vehicle safety systems (MCC00155)

This micro-credential describes the knowledge and skills required to safely work with High Voltage (HV) electrical components and energy systems in FCEVs and EVs. It explains the safety preparations before commissioning the vehicle, diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures.

The micro-credential also provides participants with an understanding of Power Battery Systems (PBS), core electrical components and their working principles.

Hydrogen vehicle safety, refuelling driver and emergency responses (MCC00112)

The hydrogen vehicle safety, refuelling driver and emergency response micro-credentials provide participants with information and an understanding of hydrogen vehicle classifications, FCEV refuelling and procedures and station safety precautions. This micro-credential explains the appropriate incident and accident responses, manufacturers' specifications and emerging technologies for hydrogen-powered vehicles in Australia.
