This micro-credential provides the basic knowledge for safely conducting site surveys to prepare for the installation of grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) solar panels and battery storage systems. It covers safe work practices, site survey procedures, assessing energy demands and site conditions, and how to configure system layouts. The micro-credential also describes different types of batteries and outlines factors that impact on battery storage selection.
