Battery design and installation fundamentals
These micro-credentials equip participants with knowledge in renewable energy site surveys, installation of battery storage to power conversion equipment, design of grid connected battery storage systems and design and development of installation training integrating battery storage with grid systems. Developed in partnership with industry, they are designed to strengthen knowledge and support best practices in the rapidly evolving energy sector.
These micro-credentials are funded by the TAFE Centre of Excellence Clean Energy Batteries, led by TAFE Queensland, which is a joint initiative between the Australian and Queensland Governments until 2028. More information about the Centre and its work is available at: https://tafeqld.edu.au/tceceb
Completion of these micro-credentials does not meet the accreditation requirements set by Solar Accreditation Australia for performing battery installations or conducting licenced electrical work, please ensure you follow all licencing and regulatory processes in your state or territory.
These courses are designed for knowledge enhancement only and do not qualify learners to carry out electrical work. Electrical work or electrical installation must be performed by a licensed electrician.
